The hotline offers information and assistance to Veterans and their families; VA Medical Centers; federal, state, and local partners; and community-based agencies, service providers, and others who work with or simply want to support our nation's Veterans.

CalVet provides loans at below-market interest rates with low or no down payment that increases veteran's purchasing power and keeps payments low. Eligibility has been expanded so that nearly every veteran wanting to buy a home in California is eligible. Any Veteran who is Honorably Discharged with at least 90 days of active duty service is qualified to receive a CalVet loan.         Veterans who are homeless or at risk of homelessness can call or visit their local VA Medical Center (VAMC) and ask for a Homeless Coordinator. Use the VA locator tool www.va.gov/directory to find your nearest VAMC and call or visit today.

      • Auburn VA Outpatient Clinic
      • Lincoln Vet Center
  • Hotline staff conducts a brief screening to assess needs.
