Hospitality House offers two transportation programs: Homeless Access Transport (HAT) and Older Adults Access Transport.
- Both services are free and donations are welcome on the Older Adults Access Transport van.
- Vans have lifts for wheelchairs and other mobility devices.
- The service area is basically from the Brighton Greens Department of Social Services office in the south to the Rood Center in Nevada City in the north.
- Brighton Greens Resource Center - 988 McCourtney Rd, Grass Valley, CA 95949
- Eric Rood Administration Center - 950 Maidu Ave, Nevada City, CA 95959
- A need for service beyond the Grass Valley and Nevada City area can be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
- Both services run 7 days a week from 9am-5pm.
- Homeless Access Transport (HAT) van is on-call, first come, first served by calling the drivers directly at 530-615-7609 or 530-615-8411. This service is for people experiencing homelessness or who are extremely low income.
