Code Enforcement is responsible for preserving the quality and value of public and private property and maintaining a high standard of living by eliminating conditions that threaten the life, health, safety, and general welfare of the public. Code Enforcement responds to and investigates reported or observed violations of the Marysville Municipal Code involving any of the following:

  • Dangerous or unsafe buildings
  • Substandard housing conditions
  • Hazardous or unsanitary environments
  • Accumulation of debris, trash, junk, recyclables, lumber, furniture, tools
  • Discarded appliances, abandoned equipment, graffiti
  • Vehicles, campers, or trailers used for human habitation
  • Allows the public to report violations, anonymously if desired, by specifying the location and detail
  • Collaborates with property owners to ensure compliance; issues warnings, notices, and may initiate enforcement or penalties within municipal authority

The City of Yuba City Code Enforcement Division promotes and maintains a safe and desirable living and working environment for City residents and business owners. In partnership with residents, public service agencies, the Fire and Police Departments, and other departments, Code Enforcement:
