Denios Farmers Market offers low-cost fresh produce. Denios accepts SNAP/CalFresh EBT cards, shoppers can really stretch EBT dollars and purchase affordable, healthy food for their families.

The weekend produce market covers 70,000 square feet, so there are many choices. The Friday market is smaller, but still include a large variety of produce. The EBT program at the market is run on a token system for ease of guests and vendors. The EBT office is centrally located in produce for the ease of the guests.

The Disability Disaster Access and Resources Program (DDAR) a joint effort with the California Foundation for Independent Living Centers (CFILC) and PG&E to support people with disabilities and older adults before, during, and after a PSPS event.

The program enables qualified customers who use electrical medical devices to access backup portable batteries through a grant, lease-to-own or the FreedomTech low-interest financial loan program.

Transportation resources, lodging and food options are also provided through an online application process to qualified customers. CFILC administers all aspects of the program.

Scooter's Pals offers numerous programs for dogs.

Rescue & Adoption Program — Scooter's Pals rescues dogs scheduled to die in high-kill shelters. They spay/neuter, fully vaccinate, and give any vet care needed. They also provide foster care or interim boarding, including all food and vet care, till a good-fit, adoptive family is found.

As soon as a dog is deemed ready to be adopted, they add the dog's write--up, photo(s), and foster contact info to our Adoptable listings on Petfinder.com.

Their dedicated adoption team carefully reviews the adoption applications received for each dog (applications are required). They also conduct interviews and do a home check in an effort to find the best, good-fit match for each dog and each family, too.
