Children's System Of Care (CSOC) has a Crisis/Child Welfare Services (CWS) Report Line to meet the special needs of children and youth who may be at risk, and their families, in Placer County.

A telephone call can bring help in a crisis. For at-risk children in emergencies and crisis situations, a special 24-hour, 7-day a week, response program is available by calling Family and Children's Services: 916-872-6549 or toll free 866-293-1940.

CSOC services include:

• 24-hour response for minors at risk of abuse or neglect
• Adoptions and Foster Home placement and licensing
• Behavioral and Mental Health Services
• Child Welfare services
• Foster youth educational assistance (Placer County Office of Education)
